DREAM but there is a but !

DREAM ! but dream what you believe you can do for yourself. Neither a dependent dream nor an inter-dependent dream. Dream but just an independent dream . If it happens, Dream again ! If it fails, there is no one to blame. Instead we learn why it failed,  And how to Dream again.  -Manal Aquil

Learning and Unlearning !

Learning anything requires an effort but unlearning what we have learned requires much more effort since it indulges psychological attachment to the effort put in earlier and only after un-conditioning of a conditioned mind, it finally transcends to have 3 dimensional and unbiased view. -Manal Aquil

Everyone is flawed !

Everyone is flawed, we just need to identify whether the other person's flaw lies within the boundaries of our negotiation. -Manal Aquil

Growth is ETERNAL !

There is no end to growth but the best kind of growth is when the roots are intact like a tree, so when the storm comes tree must withstand. -Manal Aquil

Consciousness is a double-edged sword !

I feel consciousness is a double-edged sword, as we progress we are enabled to make better choices but being more aware can sometimes make us experience more pain or in other words maybe someone rightly said "sometimes not knowing the truth is happiness". While practicing yoga, or maybe its a thing of age that I have experienced self progress towards consciousness and awareness about what makes me feel good or what makes me feel numb and then there were days when I was pondering why there is a proverb that "IGNORANCE IS BLISS" which is a completely opposite road of consciousness and the practice of yoga either physical, mental or karma raise us in consciousness.  Then I was subjected to a thoughtful dilemma since both the philosophies and practice of either yoga or ignorance are equally authentic but surprisingly contrasting. And while reflecting back and looking forward in solitude I understood "Conscious Ignorance" which implies although they are yin-yan...

Starting from sitting in Dandasana,  one knee is bent, keeping the knee on the floor, so the foot is just in front of the groin, and the other leg is taken straight back. For the completed pose bend the knee of the rear leg, and grasp the foot or ankle with one or both hands.

Hatha Yoga

Image
Hatha Yoga practice means the stubborn practice of yoga, without the interference of the five senses and the mind. Generally, people think of Hatha Yoga only as asana practice. But it is the austere practice of asana, pranayama, dharana, and dhyana to achieve the sublime state of samadhi. In samadhi the yogi becomes free from the illusion of form, time, and space. Asana is just one of the six practices in this path. Hatha Yoga originates from Raja Yoga. It is the simpler version (without Yamas and Niyamas) In simple words, you can say all the yoga poses and pranayama exercises can be classified as Hatha Yoga. So if you practice any yoga asanas or pranayama exercises you are practicing Hatha.
