Compartmentalization of priorities !

Once upon a time, there were two women, one who was wealthy and other who was mother of a vegetable vendor and one day suddenly their son died.

Of course it was a big loss to both of them equally but the situation after the loss was different for both of them.

One mother had doctors to take care and friend/relatives to console her while she was grieving beside the dead body of her son.

While mother of vegetable vendor did not had sufficient money for the funeral, so she left the dead body at home and took the vegetables to sell and collect some money to perform funeral. Despite the loss is same but this mother had to be a thick skin while having the grief without the expression of it.

Hence, the name of the story was "Dukh ka aadhikaar" in one of my high school textbook.

In life many a times, we are subjected to a situation where we have many things to grieve about but we have to let the life go on by creating different  compartments for grief, mundane or important activities  in our mind. And choosing to hop from one compartment to other and prioritizing which compartment to hop based on the circumstance is viable than trying to do everything at once and it may make our life little easier since life can not be same for all and hence we need compartmentalization of priorities.
